In this interactive presentation, we’ll explore the fundamental principles that are at the core of every thriving volunteer program. Whether you’re new to the field of volunteer management or an experienced coordinator, this presentation will help you get back to basics and focus your energy on time-tested best practices proven to get results!

Speaker  - Julie Strassman is an experienced volunteer engagement professional and educator, dedicated to helping organizations build mutually beneficial relationships with volunteers. Julie has served on the Board of MVMA and the Certification Committee for the United Way of Greater St. Louis’ Volunteer Center. She is the 2019 recipient of MVMA’s Director of the Year award, and has presented on volunteer engagement best practices for many local and national nonprofit organizations. Julie currently works as the Volunteer Coordinator for Bethesda Hospice Care.

Parking - complimentary parking in the parking lots across from the Forest Park Visitor Center.
