About the Speaker
Katelind Hosie has been a part of the Untied Way of Greater St. Louis team since 2013. As the Volunteer Center Director, Katelind provides leadership, insight and strategy to build strategic partnerships, programs, and services the Volunteer Center offers to nonprofits, companies and volunteers throughout the entire state of Missouri and nine counties in Illinois. She sets the direction and implements plans for United Way’s STLVolunteer.org volunteer recruitment platform. During times of disaster, she helps coordinate spontaneous volunteers through technology and works closely with the cross-functional disaster response team and partners. Additionally, she serves nationally with Points of Light as a disaster committee volunteer.
She served as the board president of Metropolitan Volunteer Management Association for four years and taught a master levels volunteer management course at the Brown School as Washington University in St. Louis. Katelind holds a Master of Social Work with a social and economic development concentration and management specialization form Washington University in St. Louis.
